Details: 1.1 mile, 9 Piece Outdoor Fitness Circuit (near the tennis courts)

Tuesdays, June 20-August 1:  
​Summer Reading Program at Bill Memorial Library

​Time: Walk-in, during regular library hours at Bill Memorial Library,
​240 Monument St., FREE

Details:  Weekly program for grades 1-12.  This year's theme is BUILD A BETTER WORLD! The program offers special activities, prizes, and more.  
​Special programs are held on Thursdays in July for teens in grades 6-12.

Friday, Saturday, Sunday (Memorial Weekend - September 18):  

Time:  10:00am-9:00pm, TAXI STOPS & FEE SCHEDULE BELOW

Details: ​ Take a ride on the exciting new Water Taxi, cross the Thames River between Groton & New London with no car, and see the river from a whole new perspective! 

The Taxi Schedule will run on an hourly loop between three stops - City of Groton, Thames St. at the bottom of Fort St., Fort Trumbull, & the New London City Pier. More Frequent stops as well as an additional boat Taxi will run on busy event days or when demand requires. The time for each stop is on the minute after the hour.

Water Taxi Schedule:​
City of Groton at Fort Street, Fort Griswold - 40 Minutes after the Hour ​(10:40, 11:40 etc.)
​Fort Trumbull - (10:00, 11:00 etc.)
​New London City Pier in the Historic Waterfront District, 20 Minutes after the Hour (10:20, 11:20 etc.)

Water Taxi Tickets:​
Three Location Ride - $10.00
All Day Ride - $15.00
Season Pass - $50.00 (pick up at the boat and places TBD)​
Payment is accepted as Cash or Credit Card​​
Ridership is considered to be anyone that takes a seat. We expect children 3 and under will ride free and we will make every possible attempt to take strollers and other carrying devices. Please be patient with our Mates as we will try to accommodate all requests for children, it's a family event.

​Time: noon-4pm, 57 Fort Street, FREE
Details: Historic House Museum where casualties were brought following Battle of Fort Griswold.  Includes memorabilia, sampler collection, and colonial herb garden.
